The Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly, in its commitment to inclusivity and empowerment, has presented vital support items to people living with disabilities in the municipality.
The items, distributed in the presence of esteemed guests including Nananom, the Member of Parliament, Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Coordinating Director, Presiding Member, Honourable Assembly Members, and staff of WAEMA, include: - Cement for infrastructure development - Electric and manual sewing machines for tailoring and entrepreneurship - Fufu machines for food processing - Freezers for preserving goods - Roofing sheets for shelter support - Pepper Grinding machines for food processing This support aims to enhance livelihoods, promote economic independence, and foster inclusivity. The Assembly remains committed to creating opportunities for all, especially people living with disabilities, to thrive.
